UK suspends extradition treaty with Hong Kong indefinitely, extends arms China embargo to Hong Kong. In response to the national security law, Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab announced the UK government will suspend its extradition treaty with Hong Kong immediately and indefinitely, and that there will be no exports from the UK to Hong Kong of potentially lethal weapons, their components or ammunition as well as equipment not already banned which might be used for internal repression.
